"...Sitting in an armchair, his long legs wrapped in a blanket, on the balcony of the Hotel Trinacria, he felt life flowing from him in great pressing waves..." Tomasi di Lampedusa, The Leopard. It's inside Palazzo Trinacria (formerly Hotel Trinacria) that Tomasi di Lampedusa sets the Leopard's death, with the Prince of Salina sitting on a balcony watching the sea of Palermo "...compact, oily, inert, improbably motionless..."
An apartment set inside such a historical hotel is eager to offer the friendliest and the most welcoming treatments.

Description

Appartamento Trinacria is an independent apartment set inside the 19th-century Palazzo Trinacria, a neoclassical building overlooking the sea from Palermo's old defensive walls.
The apartment is fully fitted, newly renovated and is located at walking distance from Palermo's historical centre and stunning Piazza Marina.

Palazzo Trinacria's main gate leads from the street into a courtyard. Up some steps and through the front door and you are in the dining area which includes a small, fully-furnished kitchenette.
From the dining room, one enters the living area, complete with sofa-bed, a closet, flat TV-set and open fireplace. Steps lead up from the living area to an open mezzanine with a double bed. Off the living area is a bathroom (with shower).
Both the dining and living area have balconies overlooking Via Butera, one of Palermo's most ancient and picturesque neighbourhoods, for a full immersion in Sicily's timeless fascination.
The owners offer warm welcome and will be happy to give advice about what to do and see in the city.
